In 1992, Battelle-Japan’s partner, Battelle, started Team Battelle, an employee-driven volunteer initiative which to meet the escalating number of community requests for corporate volunteers. Together, these volunteers impact positively the quality of life in communities where employees live and work by supporting and initiating volunteer-driven programs and activities that meet the community's needs, capitalize on staff's interests, and are consistent with Battelle's corporate citizenship priorities. More than nine hundred Battelle staff members are currently involved in volunteer activities through Team Battelle across the Battelle organization. Battelle-Japan is committed to continue this tradition of serving the communities in which we live and work.
